Stronghold is a competitive event where two teams—Red and Blue—face off in a series of rotating Attack/Defend scenarios. In each round, one team plans, attacks, and attempts to extract objectives from a fortified Stronghold defended by the opposing team. The event consists of six missions in total: three attacks and three defenses per team. Scoring is based solely on each team's performance during their attacks. The scoring is zero-sum, meaning one team’s gain is the other team’s loss, and defenders can limit the attackers’ score through effective resistance. What sets Stronghold apart is its elaborate planning phase, diverse kit restrictions tailored to specific player roles, the ability to build custom defenses, and a high-intensity Counterattack segment that caps off each match.

Stronghold's kit restrictions are designed to clearly distinguish between player roles through their equipment. "TACTICAL PAINTBALL" is a hybrid of hopper-fed and mag-fed paintball, but in order to put mag-fed play and on the same playing field with hoppers, hopper players are limited to a 100 rnd, gravity-fed hopper and 1 pod (Gunners get 3 pods). The key here is that during a game, there is NO RESUPPLY. What you insert with is what you have for the duration of the game, making ammo conservation a serious concern for ALL players. Other Kit Restrictions like our Minimum Weapon Length restriction and Magazine Capacity Limit will be implemented in later events. This is all meant to • SLOW • DOWN • PLAY, giving you a more tactical, strategic experience.

Our customizable barricade system allows the Defenders a variety of options to deter the attackers. Some barricades can be door and window mounted while others are intended to be deployed deeper inside rooms. Barricades can be upgraded with additional cover and concealment using the defender's Tactical Points. Imagine baskin-robbins if their 31 flavors involved walls and cam0 netting aimed at human slaughter.
