WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
You MUST complete the Rifleman, Team and Squad courses to proceed
It is recommended to take the classes in each course in the order listed
Bring your gear to class or rent gear at the facility, rental is included in the price
Classes must be scheduled in advance using the calendar below
Platoon level classes are worth 2,000 XP, per class, for Members
Organizing your forces, keeping reserves, assigning squad leaders, specialty teams, team identification, maintaining unit cohesion.
Maintaining contact, runners, code words, challenge and pass, line of sight, communications alternatives, OpSec, conveying commander intent to squad leaders.
Know your opponent, identifying units, assessing enemy cohesion, spotting weaknesses, recon by fire, probing, movement to contact, LP/OPs.
Creating a battle-plan, keeping it loose vs. rigid planning, adaptability, managing your teams manpower, ammo, stamina and morale, contingency plans, setting limits of advance.
STRAT I - MANEUVER WARFARE
Violence of action, maintaining tempo, redirection/misdirection of forces, embracing chaos, rotating units off the "line", embracing no line, logistics.
STRAT II - DEFENSIVE TACTICS
Blocking forces, defense in depth, concealment of positions, ambushing, clearing fields of fire, machine guns, presighted artillery, countering, reinforcing, QRF.
STRAT III - CORDON AND KICK
Methodical approach to MOUT, blocking forces, setting inner and outer cordons, sieging a structure, clearing and holding, reinforcing gains, patrol bases, armor at choke points.
STRAT IV - FORCE CONCENTRATION
Defining a line, preventing incursion, blocking forces, consolidated TEMPORARY defense, consolidating mass, pushing weight, overwhelming and holding, using terrain and choke points.
STRAT V - INTERDICTION
Using defensive tactics to hold a line, inserting behind enemy line, soft targets, raids, setting concealed patrol bases, cutting supply lines, comms.
STRAT VI - CHARGING
Frontal assault, manpower and fatigue, Blitzkrieg (combined arms), identifying the moment, waves, maintaining fire superiority, casualties, logistics, susceptible to counter attack, war cry, audible intimidation, bypassing pockets of resistance, follow-on forces, maintaining momentum.
