THE MINUTEMAN PROJECT

Overview::
This is a 4-hour long event with a mixture of classroom instruction and TWO Field Training Exercises (FTX). Despite it's intimidating name, the event is very casual, open to all experience levels, and is a great way to meet and train with locals. The idea is to connect you with others in the area, to train, prepare for local emergency situations, and/or just to build some good, 'ole-fashion comradery.

Classroom Time:
The event starts in our 60'x40' awning-covered classroom at 6PM, where instructors and any participants with unique experience, will be broken up into small groups, discussing and demonstrating different skills covering a range of topics, such as medical, kitting, communications, planning, shooting etc. Participants are encouraged to float and interact with any small groups they wish.

Field Training Exercise (FTX):
Between classroom portions, participants will be split into two or more groups, based on the scenario, and engage in TWO, 30-minute-long FTXs (detailed missions in a force-on-force training scenario). Scenarios will vary wildly, ranging from raids, to active shooters, movement to contact, barricaded subjects etc.

Equipment:
Primarily we will be using airsoft guns and dry fire training, but will add variations when they make sense to do so.

What's provided:
Food, water, equipment and instruction.

What to bring:
If you have your own equipment, bring it. Any real firearms need to be unloaded, chambers open, BEFORE entering the facility. No live rounds are allowed inside the facility and all equipment, real or not, will be repeatedly checked upon arrival.

This event is currently capped at 20 participants and reservation is required.
